Showered...

...with love and presents for baby from family and friends. This weekend was my baby shower at my friend's. It was nice; friends gathered from near and far. People arrived from out of town on Saturday night for girls' slumber party at the hostess' then the shower was Sunday afternoon. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family our little one is off to a great start with stuff and clothing. And stuff continues to come afterwards, yesterday we received a big package in the mail of at least four of the most adorable Winnie-the-Pooh outfits from dear friends in NJ. We're going to have the best dressed little baby, that's for sure!

Lil niece crashed out on her Mom. I know how she felt. Gosh was I exhausted at the end of the day -- never knew how one could get just sitting eating and opening gifts.

A wonderful friend who unfortunately couldn't be there was so sweet to have made a cake and dropped it prior to the shower. It was delicious! And so was the cake next to it that another friend brought.
